| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On 2 separate occasions the serpentine belt came off the pulley while driving. when this occurred the vehicle lost engine coolant, power brakes and steering, almost resulting in an accident. the dealership could not indicate why the serpentine belt came off. they just replaced it. *ak the first incident occurred during light rain. the second incident revealed a drain form a prior repair to an evaporator had fallen off and allowed water to drip directly onto the serpentine belt, which supposedly allowed the belt to jump off of the pulleys. *sc |
