Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the abs system corroded. the truck has been looked at by a mechanic only. the vehicle has been exposed to salt water for some years which may have caused corrosion to the abs. this has been a problem for two years, and nothing been done to correct it. the consumer tried everything on the brake system, except the abs. *ak the consumer stated when he hit the brakes hard, especially at low speeds the vehicle may not stop. if he hit the brakes hard at 30 mph, the vehicle may come to a slow stop. on occasion the vehicle may pull in either direction when braking. all the brake parts have been replaced at least once and some parts twice. the hydro boost, calipers, pads, rotors, master cylinder, brake lines, rear wheel cylinders rear shoes and rear drums. *jb
