| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I also have problems with my window regulator on my 1999 honda civic ex sedan. my car was only 4 years old when the driver side window went out while rolling it down and stuck halfway. after taking the door panel off and looking at it, the plastic holding the wires in it had split and the wires were rubbing causing them to fray. my husband switched that regulator over to the passenger side door and the passenger over to the driver so that i could at least use my driver side window. about a year later that window did the same thing. now i am stuck with two front windows that will not roll down. i called the dealer to see how much it would cost to fix them and they said you have to replace the motor and everything even though there is nothing wrong with the motor. it will cost $265 to replace when you include labor. |
