Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the consumer stated 2002 sun valley inc. road runner 180 camping trailer had experienced 4 different brakes line failures. the lines have physically broken off. this was on braking on the inside of the wheel where the brake line went into the cylinder on the wheel. when the owner was applying the brakes there were no brakes because of the fluid leaking out. the owner was almost in an accident because the brake line broke again. vehicle swerved into the other lane trying to slow down and stop, and landed in the median. but, there were no injuries. the owner has taken the trailer to the dealership once and a repair shop 2 times. the dealership is refusing to repair the trailer because it is out of warranty. the manufacturer said they would get to the owner and doubted that they could help the consumer. the representatitive from sun valley still has not gotten back to the owner. this is what the consumer provided or had available to the complaint. the owner does not know how to repair the trailer and make it safe to ride in. there is no indication before the lines fails. the owner considers this a defect of the design process. the owner is having to let the trailer sit in the driveway because of the safety issues he is having with the trailer. and once again the brake lines has broken. the consumer does not think that he should have to pay for the repairs because of the defect. *ak
