Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the consumer states that on chrysler 1999 concorde the engine filled up full of sludge and the engine was destroyed. this happened in october 2003. the car was sitting in the driveway of the owner, and it has not been fixed. the cost from the dealer was $7,600.00 for a new engine, but in canada it was $3,200.00. the owner was in canada when this happened. the dealer said that the owner did poor maintenance on the car, and that caused it to fill with sludge. the owner send the manufacturer a letter and has not had a response. the car set in the driveway for 2 years. the owner had to tow the car back to the states. was hoping that chrysler was going to fix the car, and chrysler dealership responded they were not going to fix it. the owner said that chrysler was taking the owner to court over the payments on the car. the owner wanted chrysler to fix the engine and then will pay them the money. *ak *jb
