Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: (1) driving on a dry, sunny, summer day. i was braking for a stop sign. (2) abs kicked in unexpectedly when vehicle slowed to somewhere below 10 mph. this had happened before, but this time it nearly prevented the vehicle from coming to a stop. almost caused me to enter a busy intersection with cross traffic approaching. (3) abs was disabled by removing the appropriate fuse. no further action taken. however i recently noticed the similarity between this incident and the symptoms described in nhtsa campaign id number : 05v379000 for full-size chevy trucks. *nm
