Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1998 ford taurus passanger side brake light not coming on, checked, found bulb aged, but intact, new bulb not availible, reseated bulb, and tested, working. later that week noticed that all turn siginals, and emergency flashers not working now!? related?! later, about two weeks, i hit a small bump, turn siginals, and emergency flashers now working!! checked passenger side brake light, out again! this past week while in a funral prosesion i had the flashers go out, by repeatedly rocking and shifting the switch { activing switch repeatedly no effect } flasher did begin functioning, this repeated five or six times during prosesion. my best guess is faulty turn siginal switch, i have purchased a new switch but have not instlled it yet. air bag must be disabled and removed, along with half of the steering wheel. not looking forward to that. |
