| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer received recall campaign id 02v293000 and has made several attempts to have remedy performed to no avail. currently, the airbag light is illuminated ,and horn does not work. took vehicle in for remedy on 01/16/02 was informed that the service technician was not in and told to return the next day. consumer called to confirm appointment, and returned on 01/17/02, was told the service technician was currently off site ,and would not return until 2pm, and that the part had to be ordered. consumer was working and had to leave. spoke with service manager bob murray and attempted to set up an appointment for 01/18/02, but was informed that the service tech does not work on saturdays. *ak manager also could not confirm appt advising consumer would contact once part arrived. consumer lives in a rural area and dealer is only option for recall remedy.*ak |
