Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 1996 grand jeep cherokee, have went though 4 fuel pumps in 4 months, now they say its a defect in the gas tank, its erroding inside which causes the fuel pump to sieize up,i now have to replace the gas tank at the cost of 402.00.i have been standed, and now am concerned what if i'm in a accident(rear end) if my tank is erroding isn't they a bigger chance of it exploding? i feel that daimler should replace the defected gas tanks,i know just in my area there are at least 4 other with the same problem.how many of us are riding around with defected gas tanks? |
