Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was driving 35 mph when the engine made a loud noise. it acted like it was in neutral, and would not go anywhere,it then jumped forward and seemed to be fine, then it did it again and would not move. i had it towed over by aaa to hall the next day.they informed me that the transmission was gone at 50,800 miles and the warrenty only covered 3/36,000 mile. i was less than three years since i purchased the van. they had to replace the transmission. i followed the b schedule of service and had the transmission fluid and filter change at 46,000 miles. the schedule b in my owners mannual says 48,000 miles. the services manager says that it should be changed at 36,000 miles. |
