Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On a 2000 plymouth voyager with 14 inch wheels (non-abs), when replacing the front brake pads i noticed that the brake caliper piston was cracked and chipped in numerous places at the outer edge and there were small pieces of the metal piston missing - the missing metal were the size of m&m's. no noticeable problem was detected with the brake pad backing or the rotor. no force was used to remove the caliper or the pad - so this must have happened just while in service. this was only on the passenger side.*jb |
