Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving, fuel sending unit(#25060-4s415) on 2000 nissan xterra failed. this part failure cause engine to cease function due to a cut in power to fuel pump. it was determined by a mechanic that the wiring harness of the sending unit failed due to the corrosion of the wires and the connection terminal. this corrosion is believed to be cause either by the fuel or by water and salt. *nlm |
