| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 1995 toyota corolla has a "pin-hole in the gas tank" necessitating the whole tank be replaced. the location of the hole is directly over the exhaust pipe, making the car unsafe due to fire danger. the toyota repair dept. seems unclear if this is caused by a defect in the tank, a road hazard or internal corrosion. if this is a manufacturer's defect, you should warn other owners of this car, so there are no vehicle fires. should you wish to inspect this vehicle, it is on site at toyota of wilmington 5640 market st. wilm nc 28405. |
