Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Small crack in intake manifold and detached hose fitting on the top of intake manifold. car overheated. contacted ford on march 21, 2003. just entered my complaint in system. i discovered there was a recall (01m02) concerning intake manifolds ford crown victoria', but ford states that my year model does not fall under the recall, despite being manufactured in the same plant st. thomas. i had vehicle vin# [xxx] repaired at greene ford co. on march 27 , 2003 after the suggestion of greene ford co. on march 20, 2003 to use expoxy sealant on the hose fitting, but that was unsuccessful. subsequently i then took the vehicle to be repaired and have the intake manifold replaced. total bill was $741.98 including tax. *nlm information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr |
