| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The abs motor on my 1999 silverado ext. cab 2- wheel drive 5.3l motor would not shut off. i had to pull the fuse to get it to stop and not run down the battery. i took it to the dealer and they said it would cost $975.00 to replace the module. the truck has 52,000 miles on it. i looked on the internet and this is a common problem. gm should repair this for free. *nlm |
