Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Late model chrysler vehicles with clear plastic head lamp lenses. the head lamp lenses are clouding over to the point that you can not see any further than 12 or 15 feet in front of the vehicle. these clouded lenses no long meet the fmvss # 108. this is a safety hazard at night ! we have thousands of these vehicles in service across the country. vehicles in the southern states are more prone to this condition than are the northern vehicles. we operate 60,000 vehicles nation wide. chrysler, gm and ford. this condition applies to all chrysler vehicles that have plastic head lamp lenses. the gm and ford vehicles are not quite as prone to this clouding condition as are the chrysler vehicles. *jb
