| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Vehicle had a no start condition. mechanic thought issue was the fuel pump and replaced it. vehicle started, but about 2 weeks later vehicle stalled out in the middle of traffic. consumer notified chevy and was told there was a special recall on the cmfi unit, but vehicle was over the mileage to qualify. it seemed that the problem resulted from the fuel used in california. consumer was never made aware of special recall. california owners should be made aware of the problem. *tt |
