| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving 50 mph the rear passenger tire tread completely separated. the tire remained fully inflated . the tire was not an original tire and it had 30000 miles on it. in total the consumer had three vehicles experienced three different failures: two blow outs and one separations. the consumer experienced this problem on two different vehicles; on the 99 ford the tread separated and caused damage to the vehicle (firestone steeltex/at), and on the second vehicle (5th wheel camper)the tire had blown out and damaged the vehicle as well(steeltex radial/lt 245 75 r16-120/116 rm/s, dot # vn2081xl00). *ak *scc *cb *nlm |
