| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Took car for inspection to midas . front brakes (pads)previously installed by midas muffler on may 16 2001, failed inspection on may 24 ,2003. pads had less than 3000 miles of wear on them pads were burnt . had stress fractures , pieces broken off. pads had been installed under warranty by midas muffler, rt 8 gibsonia pa. complete failure of lifetime warranty brake pads midas wanted three hundred dollars to re do brakes. i refused to let them rip me off, again. i had another shop redo brakes @$40.00 this charge was brake pads and labor. |
