Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: We have had a cosco/dorel - alpha omega car seat for 5 months and are going to be forced to replace it with a safer, properly constructed seat for our 11 month old. i am disgusted at the way the fastening straps twist and turn in all the components since new. too often i am forced to replace my son in his stroller in order to take out the car seat and untangle the webbing. today, i was unable to tighten his straps so he had a 2-3" gap on his shoulders from the webbing. obviously this is dangerous! we had to go immediately home. after some trouble. my husband was able to realign the webbing and make it functional for maybe the next couple of uses until it retangles. i encourage owners of this seat to get another one before they wish they did. i advise the makers of this seat to recall it and compensate all in full - before the lawsuits hit when these defects are harming someone! llw. *ak
