| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2001 audi tt roadsters airbag did not deploy during a direct frontal collision. the collision force was enough to shear the aluminum bumper reinforcement in the middle as well as wrap the radiator around the front of the engine. the vehicle is still in for repairs which now total over $13,000. in early 2003 i took my car to the dealer to investigate the airbag warning light. on the third (3rd) visit they replaced the airbag control module. i am concerned the airbag did not deploy because of a system failure?*ak |
