Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I realize i am most likely in the wrong dept, however this is as close to a complaint dept. as i have found. please forward appropriately. thank you! i feel it is imperative to bring to ford's attention that a former employee, dennis gerard of franklin, ma is posing as a current employee (complete with mgr. title and hiring capabilities) and is offering positions within your company. i am aware of this because i am a victim of his scam. in short, on or about may 16th - i was offered a lucrative position within ford motor co. by dennis ($38k/yr, co. car, many benefits etc.. - with an aug 1, 2003 start date). he was more than convincing as we met several times, filled out a ford employee application, picked out a co. car at franklin ford, ma (which would "be delivered in 6 wks. for my aug 1st start date etc..) needless to say a series of events occurred including my giving my notice at my last job (i am currently unemployed) and only then finding out that my "letter of intent" was also fraudulent. i have no idea what you can do with this information. i simply feel it is in your best interest to know that this person is fraudulently using the ford motor co. name to ruin at least my life and who knows how many others. any input you have would be appreciated. any action you may take, i would appreciate being made aware of. thank you. robin nemeth llake@naisp.net. *jb |
