Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Graco, model # 41421cnc; one day, not long after buying my carseat/carrier, the locking mechanism on one side of the handlebar broke. approximately 3 months later, the same thing happened with the other side of the handle. fortunately, my infant did not fall out when the handle flipped back. when the first side broke, the manufacturing company refused to replace the carseat without me sending them the faulty one first. i explained that i did not have the money to buy a carseat while awaiting the arrival of the new one, and asked them politely to send the replacement seat or part first. that did not matter to them, until the other side broke as well, and i threatened them with legal action. they have since sent me a new carseat, and i in return kept my word and sent them the faulty one. i have 5 children of my own. i also inspect in-home child care providers for trumbull county, so i naturally care about the safety of children. i am aware that another carseat was recently recalled for the same reason. please check into this. sincerely, [xxx]. *ak information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr
