Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a britax marathon carseat. the manual that came with the seat says to use the lock-off closest to the vehicle buckle when installing the carseat rear-facing with a lap-shoulder belt. however, the manual online says to use the lock-off farthest from the vehicle buckle. the online manual is correct, according to britax. yet they have not sent any notice out to the owners of the seats. i feel that this is dangerous and that people will be incorrectly installing their seats without this vital information. not everyone has access to the internet to find this out for themselves.*ak |
