| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was driving with my children in my 2002 cadillac escalade and there was a real bad burning smell and smoke coming from my back seat. i looked in the back seat and there was smoke coming from the rear drivers side seat. the heated seats had gotten turned on by accident or turned on by themselves. we pulled over and got the two kids out of there carseats turned the heated seat switch off, waited for the seat to cool off. thankfully we caught it in time as my children could have been injured. i put in a complaint to cadillac to file arbitration as my heated seats have been reapired 3 times prior to them melting. cadillac denied arbitration and told me the dealer will repair it yet again.*ak |
