Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In july 2002, my mustang started overheating and i received a recall notice, (recall # 01s30), i took my car to ford and they said they would check it for more damage. i got my car back and it still overheated, so l called ford and they told me to bring it back in and they would check to see what the problem was. they told me there was nothing wrong.. so i replaced the head gaskets and it still got hot, so i had the fan motor checked and that is what was wrong, so replaced, and the car ran fine until april 2003, so i started replacing cooling system parts until, the head gaskets blew again, so i replaced for a second time and relized that the problem was the fan circuit breaker again.. i again had to replace the circuit breaker and the fan motor.. i also called ford again and got that the part was out of warranty and that there was nothing they could do for me.. i now have blown head gaskets for the third time in a year.*ak |
