| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2001 chrysler concorde with approximately 22,000 miles. the engine sieze and ceased to function while i was driving with my three children down interstate hyw. i had very littlwe control over my vehicle when this occurred. the engine has always gotten extremely hot during use even on short trips. chrysler has told me that i did not change the oil frquently enough which caused the engine failure. i think something is inherintly wrong with the engine as it gets extremely hot even after short trips. in fact, the hood of the car gets so hot it can actually burn you when you touch it. i have since learned that this problem occurs with many chrysler concordes and chrysler obviously knows a problem exists that could endanger the lives of consumers. |
