Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Defective front end suspension parts sold by performance suspension technology.the original front suspension parts on my 1969 chevrolet kingswood station wagon went 170,000 miles before needing replacement. i purchased a front end rebuild kit from performance suspention technology, pob 396, monville. nj 07045 on 01/04/01. after approximately 6,000 miles i noticed that the car would pull violently to the right or left when the brakes were applied. i rebuilt the entire brake system and had the same breaking problem. at 10,300 miles after the front end rebuild i noticed abnormal inside tire wear. i took the car to my front end shop and they informed me that the lower load bearing ball joints were worn well beyond specifications. if properly cared for ball joints can wear this rapidly under normal conditions it indicates that the metalurgy is highly defective and that this critical suspension part could prematurely fail at any time causing serious injury or death to many motorists. pst admits they have had rapid wear problems with ball joints, yet continue to sell them and have failed to notify customers of possible safety hazards.*ak
