| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: An article in today's wall street journal indicated that the nhtsa is conducting an investigation into possible general motors car defects. notably difficulty in the power steering making a left hand turn. my 2000 cadillac deville , with 60,000 miles is experienceing just such an issue. i took the car into columbus cadillac and they said i needed a new steering rack - the installation of which would cost $ 1,300.00. the car steers fine in making a right hand turn but is extremely difficult in making a left hand turn. i encourage your review of this matter for a possible recall, for there is no excuse for this safety issue to arise at such mileage- the vast majority of which has been highway mileage.. |
