| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When attempting to put ramp into the carrier the left ramp would not go into the carrier as the safety catch would not stay after the consumer loaded the vehicle on the u-haul auto transport he proceeded to hook up all the safety belts and chains. when he attempted to put the ramp into the carrier the left ramp would not go into the carrier as the safety catch wouldn't stay in place. after several attempts he asked his wife to assist. she pushed down the safety catch and the ramp fell onto her hand and caused immediate swelling of her entire hand. she was taken to the emergency room where they determined that her hand was not broken just extremely swollen. the consumer believes the equipment should have been checked before it was rented out. *nlm |
