| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Engine knocks on startup and when warm, which sounds like that of the lifter. consumer went to the dealer and was told that this is normal. it's hard to think that gm would make a gas engine to make this kind of noise. the new 6.0 don't make this type of noise on start up. i found out from the dealer that the older 6.0 have made this kind of noise. gm pulled the engines for inspection. it seems like they found the problem and fixed it on the new models and won't fix the mistake of the old ones. *la |
