| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Recall number: 98v150001 my 1994 chevy suburban is not in the vin numbers covered by the recall although it was made at same plant in same year as others covered. i had to pay for exact repair as listed in recall. dealer service tech. told me that they, "have done at least 100 of these repairs on model years that are in the recall, but maybe 30 of those have actually been covered by the recall. the others have had to pay for the repair themselves just like you." it's not that the repair was overly expensive, but it seems that if there is a recall that covers five years of cars more than 30% of the repairs should be included in the covered vin numbers. i believe that the number of vehicles that should be covered by this recall should be greatly increased. *la |
