| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have 80 spoke american wire wheels on my 94 harley with tube-less tires. this week-end while traveling in southern indiana i noticed my front end feel "light". as we pulled into a small town for lunch i noticed my tire was low, almost flat. i reviewed the tire and it looked fine so i checked the rim. it had about a 5-6 inch crack around the top of the rim and the liner was bulging through the rim! i couldn't believe there could be such a structural failure on a rim. needless to say we were very lucky and had to be trailed home. *la |
