Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving at 45 mph, the steering wheel began to get stiff. the vehicle had to be towed. *ak tsb#090600. during heavy rain, the consumer lost the ability to steer and applied the brakes to avoid a collision. when the consumer checked under the hood, he saw that the serpentine belt had come completely off. the dealer told the consumer that this was a common problem due to the manufacturer removing the shield that would have prevented the incident. *scc *jb |
