| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Jack collapsed when tire was being changed. the jack couldn't hold the weight of the vehicle. there was a recall to replace the jack with a stronger one, but consumer was never notified of it until the jack broke.*ak consumer spoke with three different dealers who agreed the jack should be replaced. one agreed to replaced it if the consumer pays the $50.00 warranty deductible. consumer think the jack couldn't hold the lincoln but may hold a ford focus. michelin stated since the tire was driven until flat, it wasn't under warranty. since they couldn't match the tires, all four were replaced with big o with a 100,000 mile unlimited warranty. michelin,firestone and possibly lincoln has lost the consumer as a consumer. *ph |
