| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Upon purchasing a 2000 casita travel trailer in conneticut, while in route to pennsylvania the left tire came apart and blew out, and installed new spare and after reaching home had 3 new tires and wheels installed.the tires that were removed were placed in storage in the garage and just from sitting upon examination of the right tire that was removed the belts were shifted and the tread was about to separate. this tire would not have made for another 25 miles without incident. carlisle size 175x80xr13. the tire that blew out was severely destroyed there was no d.o.t. number left to read, the tire that was coming apart as i write this has the number (11 12 08 dot dbju h12 319), the spare tire has all the same numbers except the last 3 digits are 229. *la |
