| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In february 2003, i brought my 2000 isuzu into a mechanic shop to have the intake gasket, upper and lower replaced, after owning my vehicle for only six months. at that time my engine light had come on and stayed on. after having the intake gasket repaired the light remained on. i was told by the mechanic that there was a wiring problem and it would cost more to fix it or i could just ignore it. now, six months later, i have a blown engine. i was informed that my vehicle had used four quarts of oil in less than 3000 miles. i never received a warning indicating my oil was low. the mechanic informed me my vehicle had been burning the oil, no leaking it, because it was apparent by the appearance of the muffler. *la |
