| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Partial tread separation/loss of approximately one-third of the tread with no advance indication of any tire trouble. the entire incident at freeway speeds (65-70) lasted no more than 15 seconds from the time i heard something hit my left front fenderwell until the chunk of tread flew off, (damaging my lower rear fender) and i came to a full stop. thankfully, the tire did not deflate. my dually pick-up has a full set of these tires to include the the spare which replaced the defective tire. should i continue to drive on these tires? the entire set has under 26,000 miles of light duty use. *la |
