Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I have a eddie bauer highback booster seat manufactured by cosco. when using it as a seat belt positioning car seat, the latch that keeps the seat belt in place does not work. i have to pull over several times since the seat belt comes out of the ring that is supposed to put it in place. it ends up that the seat belt is over my child's neck or worse yet, he puts it behind him. i think it would be a very unsafe situation if this happened right before i was in an accident and have consequently, stopped using the booster seat. it is not a safe situation. the other problem with this booster seat is when it's used as a five point harness, i can not tighten the belt adequately around my child. it gets tangled and is difficult to tighten. basically, i've got 5 car seats (to handle car pool) and this one was a total waste of money! *la
