| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2001 chevrolet silverado 1500 and the tailgate straps broke while i was standing on the tailgate. upon further investigation, it became obvious that both cables had corroded to the point of failure. i presented this to my local dealer and they were happy to sell my replacement parts and wish me the best of luck. this is unacceptable as the replacement parts are no better than the original parts. i am going to have to replace these every other year at $100/set. |
