| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I received the information about the settlement regarding the throttle body cleaning. i called my local dealer and 1-800-nissan1 to request a throttle body cleaning. my van currently has 80,000 miles on it. i have in my possession 2 invoices (1 at 52,000 miles and 1 at 70,000 miles) from the dealer showing where i took the vehicle in for service regarding this problem (and other things) and they did nothing about it. i was told (as others were) that it is maintenance and i chose not to have it done (or not to spend $150). i purchased the extended service agreement from the local dealer. at this point, i have been told that they will not perform a throttle body cleaning on my vehicle because it is out of warranty--even though i have proof from the dealer that i was having this problem and even though i bought the extended service agreement. my husband and i have owned 4 nissans--we will never own another! *la |
