Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Rear view mirror has a flowing liquid inside of the mirror impairing view. this does not seem to affect the auto dimming abilities. one night it was fine, the next morning it was there; no damage to mirror at all; no bumps; no cold temps; no hot temps to cause this problem. there is no leaking. the liquid flows uphill leading to believe it is possibly mercury and if so poses an environmental hazard as well as potential harm to humans if the mirror is to start leaking. chrysler 5 star dealer in ruston, la has never seen a problem like this. they also are charging almost $400 plus labor to fix. this is unacceptable as this seems like a clear defect case.*ak |
