| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have had two separate firestone lt265/75r16 steeltex radial r4s tire failures within 700 miles on my 2000 ford f-350 pickup, resulting in over $4,000. damage to my vehicle. firestone has denied the first claim stating i must have hit a pothole. the second claim is pending, waiting for me to send them the other tire. i expect the same responce from firestone,as the tires look exactly the same, like a hand grenade blew up inside them. these are the same tires that cbs news had a report on last friday night about failures on rescue vehicles from 82 rescue squads in 26 states.*ak |
