| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Around 9/15/03 - my 1994 lhs started to vibrate while idling. the problem got worse and one day i noticed the smell of gas. i took it to my repair shop for repair. he had the car from 10/7 to 10/11 trying to determine the problem and finally repaired it. after paying $433.89 for the repair, i looked at the repair history (the car belonged to my husband) and found out that the car had a o-ring recall in 1999. that was supposed to have fixed the problem. i contacted russ darrow, authorized chrysler dealer, about the recall work and they said the repair should have lasted longer than 4 years. they weren't willing to do anything since i had work done by archer auto. i have the receipts for all repair work. i would like to get a refund of the money i paid but more importantly i would like someone to verify that the work done was correct and that i am not going to have a problem with a fire from gas leaking from the o-ring. *la |
