Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer received a notice for recall 03v350000 concerning a cracked weld in the frame of the motorcycle which supported the rear suspension. manufacturer suggested that consumer go to an authorized honda dealership and have them disassemble it and then take it to a contracted welder and have it reassembled. consumer inquired if nhtsa or honda would be testing the frame or would it be safe to ride the motorcycle. the welded frame could break and cause serious injury if traveling at high speeds. *ak |
