| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Car seat problem. i have an evenflo triumph 5 car seat for my 13 month old son. in september, the plastic hook that holds the cover on tore away from the cover. the cover could no longer stay on the styrofoam inside. i called evenflo, but never received the cover. on december 1, a big chunk of the styrofoam broke off. this left the car seat unusable. evenflo now wants me to continue to use the car seat until they send a replacement styrofoam, not even mentioning the cover. this would be very unsafe if my baby were in a crash, not to mention a choking hazard if he were to get a piece of the styrofoam. please place a recall on this car seat. i do not want to wait until a baby is injured in some way. *nlm |
