| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: consumer received a recall notice on november 5/2003 concerning abs brakes. the abs problem on certain sport utility vehicles that were equipped with an anti-lock braking system (abs), the vehicles could experience extended stopping distances in certain types of braking events. dealer stated the recall was on back order. one must wait, we didn't' have the part yet. but on december 11, 2003 consumer had a collision due to brake failure. *ak |
