Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I won a 1995 dodge neon and this car has a head gasket leak.there is a constant smell of burnt oil and i am afraid that this engine may catch fire someday. i have to talked to several mechanics and this headgasket leak is very common in dodge neon's and the local car dealer said he could do nothing about it.i did an internet search and found quite a few complaints about the dodge neon headgasket leak.i bought the car from a private owner but the problem is that the daimler-chryler corporation created a defective headgasket and i am very worried that this is a fire risk.the engine is very oily and there is a constant smell of burnt oil.i have also read on the internet that certain dodge dealers are repairing the headgasket .at times some smoke has come from the engine. |
