Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2003 terra class a motorhome on a workhorse p-32 chassis, coach added by fleetwood rv mfg co. this unit wanders from side to side constantly while driving. workhorse has tried to correct by extensive repairs, but not successful. they claim "wandering is normal"! fleetwood will not accept responsibility either. i have been informed by three(3) rv dealerships in the area that aftermarket stabilizers will correct the "wandering" as well as provide protection from loss of steering control in case of a tire blowout. i would venture a guess that most rv owners art middle-aged to elderly, who may not have fighter-pilot reflexes. it seems that the addition of the coach upsets the stability of the chassis. why are'nt both manufacturers held responsible for producing a vehicle that steers correctly. i have driven many trucks of all sizes and loadings, and they steer properly. thank you. *ak |
