| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2001 audi a6 with all routine maintenance had check engine light on and was told it was nothing to worry about. a few weeks later the engine basically melted with out any warning. dealer says the radiator was fine and the was no oil leak. all wires are melted onto the engine and the engine is ruined. suspect electrical problem. only 2 years old but off warranty. dealer offers nothing and audi offers 4000 towards a new audi purchase. a net 37000 dollar loss in 2 yrs for me. i was told when i purchased the car, it would easily get 90000 to 15000 miles by every dealer. they are covering up an electrical defect or severly misrepresenting their product. *ak |
